In case you missed it, check out the Core77 Questionaire with MatterMade designer Paul Loebach. They're asking the tough questions, like "How do you procrastinate?"

We would all like a valet of our own just like in Downton Abby. But then again, it does seem a little old fasioned. Perhaps we'll compromise and go with something more modern: Soren Rose's Gentleman's Valet.

The Guggenheim show looks pretty good from the picures we've seen and its currently at the top of our list of things to do. Art, architecture, and light.  What more is there?

This building just opened its doors around the corner from us.  Built in 1870 and purchased in 1968 by Judd, it was his residence and is considered to be the birthplace of the "permanent installation." There also happen to be many amazing Artek pieces.

Max Lipsey just sent us this image of a prototype he is developing--the bar stool version of his Acciaio Stool.  Looking good Max.  Available this summer.

Soren Rose's beautiful quilt Stitch is made from fabric offcuts that would otherwise be discarded by a factory making some of the finest textiles around. The pieces shown above were nearly thrown in the trash! Thank you Soren for rescuing these lonely scraps and bringing this sublime family together.

The Bocci 28 series by Omer Arbel is now available suspended by copper tubing.  As soon as ours arrives in the mail, we're going to put it up in the showroom. Can't wait to experiment with this organic, malleable piece.
