Chair I unites the fluid lines of Simone's personal sculptural work and the organic architecture that informs it, while feeling monolithic and carved out-of-a-whole. The piece is fully functional, weight bearing, and wraps comfortably around the sitter.

Chair I is the first piece of collectible ceramic furniture in a developing line that will be debuted in 2022. Each chair is custom made per order, and can be sculpted to face its seat to the left or the right depending on the client's space, and how they would like the piece to interact with the room.
